Learn About St. Anne's!

Holy Mass on the feast of Christmas.

Welcome to St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church!

St. Anne's is a Mass center belonging to the Society of St. Pius X (SSPX). Mass is said here every weekend and holy day, celebrated by priests from the nearby priory in Armada, MI. If the priory is the tree, the Mass centers are the branches. Our priests live in community in our priories, finding strength in living, praying and working together during the week. On weekends they travel from the priories, bringing the traditional Mass and sacraments out from thence. In the case of the priory that services St. Anne's, the priests from there travel the whole breadth and length of the state of Michigan, bringing Christ's life to souls spread out over a vast region.

In our days, when liturgical, doctrinal and even moral corruption is becoming more and more evident in the Catholic Church, St. Anne's is a refuge. It has stood as this refuge for many years, beginning in the early 1970s, when a group of Catholics became concerned over the loss of the Mass as they knew it. They appealed to Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, who began to send priests to the Detroit area to celebrate the Tridentine Mass. This Mass, also known as the Traditional Latin Mass, is celebrated exclusively at St. Anne's Church. Please see our History page in the menu above to learn more.
